Day 1

Transfer from Campo Grande to Bonito – Day Traveling
Assistance at the airport or bus station of Campo Grande. The transfer from Campo Grande to Bonito can be by Regular Bus/Mini-Van or Private Car, you can choose. Arrival in Bonito and check-in at choose Pousada. Depending of your arrival time in Bonito, it is possible to organize an extra tour in the first afternoon. Overnight in dormitory (shared room) or private room, you can chose with accommodation in Bonito you prefer.

Day 2

Bonito day tour with private transfer to the activities
After breakfast the driver will pick you up in your accommodation and bring you to visit the Blue Lake Cave (Gruta do Lago Azul) – Considered the postcard of Bonito city, the Blue Lake Cave was discovered in 1924. Inside the cave there is a lake of crystalline waters. The light reflecting on the water gives a bluish tone to the lake. The contemplative and historical tour starts with a walk for about 300m until the entrance of the cave, which is stuck in the middle of the forest. From the entrance to the lakefront, we have a rustic steps trail about 100m down. During the way down, there are stopping points for observation of the geological formation of the cave (several types of speleothems) and specially to watch the beautiful blue lake. The reception place offers bar and restaurant, restrooms and a gift shop. NOTE: Obligatory use of tennis shoes. Duration: 1h20min.
After visit the cave your driver will bring you to the farm where you will have lunch and go for snorkeling at Anaconda River (Nascente Rio Sucuri) – Situated on Saint Geraldo Farm, Sucuri River snorkeling tour is considered one of the clearest waters rivers in the world. The tour starts with a walk of approximately 500m in the gallery forest taking you up to the headwaters of the river. During the trail, you can enjoy the local flora and fauna and make stops at lookouts to observe the springs. The 1800m snorkeling on the crystalline waters of Sucuri River allows you to enjoy the underwater flora beauty and to interact with many schools of fish, such as piraputangas, pacus and corimbas. During the snorkeling, there is a rowboat that serves to support and monitor the way down. The farm has a pretty reception point with swimming pool, hammocks, bar and restaurant (adjusted to wheelchairs), cabinet lockers and a gift shop. The flotation equipment (wetsuit, neoprene boot, life vest, mask and snorkel) and a typical lunch are included in the tour. Distance: 19 km. Duration: half a day. After the tour your driver will bring you to your accommodation.

Transport

REGULAR TRANSFER BY BUS/MINI-VAN
– Campo Grande to Bonito at 9:30am, 2:30pm, 7:00pm and 11:00pm – 04 hours trip.
– Bonito to Campo Grande at 7:30am, 10:30am, 12:30am and 6:30pm – 04 hours trip.

NOTES ABOUT PRIVATE TRANSFER BY CAR
– Campo Grande to Bonito to Campo Grande at your time (you choose the leaving time) – 3h30m trip.

Note

– Prices and payment conditions must be requested by Reservation Form.
– Depending of the season the dormitory can be separated for men and women (sometimes can be mixed dormitory).
– The activities will be scheduled day by day at the booking time. Our program day by day is only an example of how the excursion can be distributed.
– Nothing confirmed, just budgeted. Availability will be confirmed at booking time.

    The team were super-helpful not only in the easy booking process, but also in giving advice on my onward travel plans.

The lodge is fantastic, in a perfect location  to enjoy both the wildlife and memorable sundowners. The included food is tasty and plentiful and drinks and snacks are available at very reasonable prices.

    Alisson and David organized everything for us in Manaus, from transport to tours.  The highlights are definitely the 2 nights in the floating house +1 night in the jungle and the other tour to swim with pink dolphins and visiting an indigenous tribe. Loved everything from start to finish. The floating house we stayed had everything we needed: good bed, air-conditioning and simple delicious food. Mathias was our guide and his knowledge about the Amazon is unbelievable. In some activities, João (local guy) also came along and he is really good too. They got so many fishes on the night we slept in the jungle that we all went to bed (hammocks) with full stomach. These guys did everything, from building dinner table to making cooffee in a really traditional cool way.   The other tour was amazing too. The pink dolphins are sooo sweet and we were lucky to have lots of them around us. With the indigenous tribe we had a lesson about tradition and dancing and also could appreciate their art.     Sehr spontan organisierte Alisson trotz Nationalfeiertag unseren viertägigen Trip ins Pantanal. Von der Organisation zur Kommunikation bis hin zur Verlässlichkeit war alles mehr als perfekt! Wir schliefen auf der Santa Clara Farm und nahmen an zahlreichen Aktivitäten teil: Bootsafari, Piranha-Fischen, Jeepsafari, Pferdereiten, Wanderungen…aber es gab auch genügend Zeit zum Entspannen auf der gemütlichen Farm. Das Essen war ebenfalls der Hammer. Ein rundum tolles Erlebnis, was wir jedem mehr als empfehlen!!

    We booked a 3N Pantanal and 2N Bonito tour. The trip was well organized by Alisson, who handled our requests last minute. In the Pantanal we stayed at Santa Clara which is a nice location with good food. Our guide the "jaguarman" we really can recommend (even though, we did not see a jaguar ;)) as he is very passionate about his job and very entertaining! Of course we cannot compare to other tours, but we were overall happy with our budget tour we booked and would recommend it. If you want to see even more animals and increase the chances to spot a Jaguar one probably would have to go for a more expensive tour in the northern Pantanal.
