Transfer from Campo Grande x Pantanal – Dinner at Baia das Pedras Ranch
Assistance at the airport of Campo Grande and transfer to the Pantanal of Nhecolândia. In this tour package you have 02 options of transport to get at Baia das Pedras Ranch: by 4×4 vehicles (some months of the year – dry season) or by airplane all year long.
The transport by 4×4 vehicles is a great adventure and an unforgettable trip; by land you will drive for about 295km crossing the Maracaju hills, grassland fields, forest, bays and rivers of Pantanal. Depending of the time of the year the trip will take between 05 to 08 hours. In the wet season is not possible get in the ranch by 4×4 vehicles because all the roads and tracks are flooded.
The transport by airplane is the main access to Baia das Pedras and the charter flights provide a panoramic view of the Pantanal and is available to fly all year round. You can choose a flight directly from Campo Grande (around 01 hour flying) or fly from Aquidauana (2 hours by car + 30 minutes flying).

After dinner, wildfile Night Tour – the trip is done in 4×4 vehicle, where you use a silibim (powerful flashlight) to observe alligators and other nocturnal animals. After lunch and rest you go for Canoeing Tour – The rach has handicraft canoes made up of “ximbuva” wood (Enterolobium contortisiliqum) by people from Corumba, South Mato Grosso. The piranha fishing tours are on Guanandy bay, Baía das Pedras bay and drain of Castelo. Birds, caimans and mammals go frequently to the bays mainly in the early hours of the day and sunset.

Day Tour in the Pantanal with local English-speaking guide– breakfast, lunch and dinner
After breakfast, you go for a Horseback ride – Pantaneiro horses, raised at the Ranch, are excellent for tours on the surrounding of the forests and drains as the Drain of Castelo. This place has the biggest concentration of trees and a lot of animals can find shelter and food all over. The Pantaneiro horses are rustic and completely adaptable to the wetlands – when the rain season starts (from November up to March) the horses have to look for food on the flooded areas. The people interested can follow the cowboys when they are doing their daily work and witness their talent roping and handling the cattle.
After lunch and rest you go for Jeep Photo Safari – In this tour will be used a customized 4×4 vehicle especially for outdoor drives to explore the beautiful areas of Pantanal with some comfort. By “jeep” you can get in some areas that are difficult to access on a walk or by horse. It is a great way for you to explore the area if you come with children or have limited mobility. The safari takes from 2 to 3 hours.

Depending what time is your flight in Campo Grande and the type of transport you chose, maybe you have time to do another tour in the morning, for example, tereré wheel and prose – Like any good Pantanal farm at Baia das Pedras the traditional wheel tereré with prose in the shed. Notes about the TRNSPORT BY LAND
– Campo Grande to Pantanal leaving maximum at 10:00am. The trip takes between 05 to 08 hours depending of the weather and season of Pantanal.
– From Campo Grande to Baia das Pedras Ranch will be 295 kilometers (140km paved road + 50km land road + 105km trails in Pantanal);
– Usually from Dezembro to April is not possible get at Baia das Pedras Ranch by land because the Pantanal can be flooded. Please, request if the terrestrial transport will be available for the period you want to come.
– Bring snacks, cereal bars, fruit and water during the terrestrial trip, there is not many places to buy things.
– Is possible do the transfer by land from Campo Grande to Aquidauana and back to Campo Grande all year round!
