Transfer (regular or private) from Campo Grande to Pantanal
Assistance at the airport or bus station of Campo Grande. You have 02 transfer options on this Pantanal tour package: Private transfer by car directly to the Pousada or Regular Transfer by mini-van/Bus to Buraco das Piranhas (police station where the bus stop). The Pousada’s jepp will be waiting at Buraco das Piranhas. The local transfer to the Pousada is done in open jeep and you already have the opportunity to spot some wildlife on the Pantanal Park Road. Arrival at Pousada and check-in. Walk around of the ranch to spot some birds and enjoy the sunset view. The shedule of the activities will be set up when you arrive in the Lodge with your local guide.

Pantanal Day Tours – Pousada São João / Pantanal Park Road
After Breakfast Horseback Ride on typical pantaneiro (from Pantanal) horses. It is a 2 – 3 hours tour through diverse habitats such as grasslands and higher areas with dense wood vegetation that serve as refuge to animals and birds during the wet season. You may see marsh deer, feral pigs, blue macaws, toucans and many other bird species. Our clients say that the Pantanal is one of the best places to horseback ride because the horses are very well trained and you really get in the nature.
After lunch and relax you will go to a Nature Trekking – on this activity you will spend about 2 – 3 hours walking through diverse habitats such as grasslands and higher areas with dense wood vegetation that serve as refuge to animals and birds during the wet season. When the Pantanal is flooded you walk in wet places and if you want you can across bays what makes your tour unforgettable. During the treking tour the guide also will show and explain you about the plants and trees (medical use, use in construction and serving as food for humans and animals) and as well look for animals that often inhabit the region, such as the black howler monkey, deer, capybara, armadillo, raccoon and lots of birds.

Half Day Pantanal Tours – Transfer from Pantanal to Campo Grande.
After breakfast you go by open jeep to Passo do Lontra Lodge to do a canoe tour through the Miranda River. First of all you take an engine boat and up the river stream for about 1hour. After that, you get the canoe and dawn the river stream for about 1h30min hours until the Lodge. This tour is nice because you can see and you can hear the nature’s song. Swing in the river is a good idea too. The boat gets around just for security. After the canoe tour you go for Piranha Fishing at the floating platform in front of the Lodge.
After lunch transfer by private car directly from the Pantanal Lodge to Campo Grande or regular transfer from the Lodge to Buraco das Piranhas to take the regular Mini-van/Bus to Campo Grande or Bonito or Corumbá (Bolivia´s border). (B, L)
Notes about the REGULAR TRANSFER BY BUS/MINI-VAN
– Campo Grande to Pantanal leaving at: 7:15am, 10:30am. The trip takes about 05 hours until Buraco das Piranhas + 1 hour from Buraco da Piranhas to the ranch.
– Pantanal to Campo Grande leaving at: 1:30pm. The trip takes about 1 hour from the Farm to Buraco da Piranhas + 05 hours until Campo Grande.
– We also can organize pick up or drop off in Corumbá or Bonito.
Notes about the PRAVITE TRANSFER BY CAR
– As is private transfer the car can leave at any time you want from Campo Grande or Pantanal. The trip takes about four and half hours.
– If you prefer to stay on the Camping you MUST to bring sleeping bag and towel.
– The tours will be scheduled day by day at the Pousada depending of the weather conditions and can be changed. Our program day by day is only an example of how the excursion can be distributed.
