04 days Amazon Camp Tour – Tucan Lodge
PRESENTATION

Day 1

The tour start between 7:30am and 8:00am (according your hotel location), where our local guide will pick you up and bring to the Ceasa Pier, where you will take a boat to visit the meeting of the waters (junction of the Negro and Solimões rivers). After visiting the meeting of the waters,  you will take a car and drive for around 01 hour and 30 minutes until get in the Ubim Lake. From this place the trip will continue by boat (speed boat) for about 30 up to 50 minutes ride depending on the time of year. Arriving at the lodge, welcome drinks will be served with the guests being accommodated shortly after that.

Around noon lunch is served and after lunch there is a little time to relax and to prepare tihngs to the activities of this first day. Around 2:30pm the group will departure by motorized canoe for piranha fishing and for a small canoe trip for bird watching and to see a wonderful sunset from the middle of the river and return to the lodge after this. around 7:00pm dinner is served.

After dinner the group departure by motorized canoe for the alligator spotting tour and the guide using his hands will grab a small alligator and will explain about this feared animal of the Amazonian rivers. During this tour each person has the opportunity to touch, hold and take photos of the alligator.

Overnight in private room with AC and Toilet.

Day 2

Before breakfast, early in the morning you go to a small canoe trip to observe the awakening of the nature with the first rays of the sun and the silence being broken through the singing of the birds and other animals of the region. Back to the lodge to have breakfast. Around 8:00am you go for a jungle trekking. During the trekking, the guide will explain about the forest and about some medicinal plants found there in the area. There is also a chance to observe tarantulas and other animals.Depending of the group the tour can have aduration of 3 hours and half.

Around midday the lunch is served and around 2:30pm you will visit an indigenous community where they will attend an indigenous ritual (dancing), great opportunity for photos and videos with the indigenous. Finished this visit, you will visit the monkey forest, an area of the Ariaú region where monkeys are living in flooded forest area, great moment for photos and videos of these animals. the return to the lodge will be around 5:45pm.

Day 3

After breakfast, you go for a 3 hours kayak tour (paddling) where you will explore some streams of the region. At the end of the kayaking tour you will go swimming with the pinky dolphins, great moment for photos and videos of this wonderful and legendary animal of the Amazonian rivers.

After lunch, around 3:00pm, your local guide will bring you to a wild camp where you will spend the night in the forest sleeping in hammocks with mosquito nets around. During the camping the food is made by the group together with the guide. That will be a really different experice and usually the people don´t sleep too much beacuse it´s amazing the forest nocturnal noise. The guide also tell you about some local legends and about some survival techniques such as finding water and food.

Day 4

After breakfast in the forest, another jungle trekking is done at the camp area. After the tour you will return to the lodge around 11:00am.

After lunch, around 2:00pm begins the journey back to Manaus (boat + car) with arrival scheduled at 4:30pm. We can dropp you off at the hotel or at the airport if is the case.
