Berço Pantaneiro Lodge is a cozy and family-run accommodation renowned for its hospitality and proximity to wildlife, particularly jaguars. The accommodation is located at the heart of the Northern Pantanal in Brazil.
The Lodge was created in the end of 2019 by Daniel da Costa Moura and his wife Kelly do Vale Moura. This family business has 15 rooms and facilities like boats equipped for tours, a restaurant serving typical Pantanal cuisine, and common areas for relaxation. Guests enjoy full-board services, with meals and non-alcoholic beverages included. Surely, it is the new hit for tourists who want to see jaguars in Porto Jofre and are looking for a good lodge and good service.
Guests can feel the good atmosphere of the place and the good energy of this place. Basically, the rooms in the lodge is super new. In addition, the accommodations have air conditioning, hot shower, hooks and desk tables. It has all basic stuff for a confortable stay.
Berço Pantaneiro Lodge serves the typical regional food including fish, beef and pork in the meals. Nevertheless, the buffets are rich and salads and vegetables. Overall, the restaurant is very cozy and warm with its rustic wooden tables and chair. Besides, the staff bring aptisers or a soup before the main course. All in all, the accommodarion offers water, juices and soft drinks in both occasions, during your whole stay.
The lodge is a popular base for wildlife enthusiasts and anglers, offering activities such as jaguar safaris and sport fishing.
Eco Adventures Travel with Berço Pantaneiro Lodge operates own safaris along the Pantanal rivers. There are 18 boats equipped with comfortable chairs, some with covered boats and 40, 50, 60 and 90hp engines. During the wildlife safari there is termal box with water and other drinks.
The motor boats safaris last an average of 9 hours, leaving at 7:00am and returning at 5:00pm. The itinerary consists of traveling along the rivers that border Encontro das Águas State Park, the place with the highest incidence of jaguars in the world.
For fishing, there are 8 boats for sport fishing, equipped with chairs, all new boats and life jackets for the total safety of the customers. The fishermen don’t have to worry about anything. Local guides, bait, ice, water, fuel, everything is included for the convenience of our customers.
To reach Berço Pantaneiro Lodge, the trip is along the Transpantaneira Road, and the drive is for about 145km of dirt road, what increase your chances of seeing animal. The transfer to the lodge is a car safari where stops are made when some wildlife is spoted by our guide and driver.
