Transfer from Campo Grande to Pantanal
Assistance at the airport / bus station of Campo Grande, transfer by regular transfer by mini-van/public bus or private car to Pantanal If you choose the regular transfer option, the bus/mini-van will stop at Buraco das Piranhas (police station where the bus stop). The hotel’s car will be waiting for you at Buraco das Piranhas and will bring you to the lodge. Arrival at hotel after lunch, check-in. You go for a walk on the elevated boardwalk around of the lodge. During this walk, you have great chances of spot black howler monkey, capybaras, black caimans and several birds species. After dinner you go for a night motor boat tour (spot light) to spot alligators in the Miranda River. A sealed beam light (spotlight) is used, and also capybaras and nocturnal birds can be spotted. The trip starts in the late afternoon and takes about 1 hour and 30 minuts, enabling you to watch the beautiful sunset on the river.

Pantanal day tour with local English speaking guide
After breakfast you go to a Canoe Tour trough the Mirada River. First, you take a engine boat and up the river stream for about 40minuts. After that, you get the canoe and dawn the river stream for about 1 horus and 30 mints until get in the Lodge. This tour is nice because you can see and hear the nature’s song. Swing in the river is also a good idea. When you are in the canoes, the boat gets around just for security.
After lunch you have a time to relax before the afternoon activity. In the afternoon you go for a Boat Trip in Miranda River – it tour is available on small boats (4 people’s max.) or covered motorboats (14 people’s max.). Both models are four-stroke boats (quieter and less polluting) equipped with life jacket, comfortable swivel seats, and ice chest with beverages. Lasting about 3 hours, it gives you the choice of going either down or up the Miranda River. Going upstream, you will enter the Vermelho (red) River, which is narrower and has clearer waters, and you can come closer to its borders and thus closer to the wildlife.

Pantanal day tour with local English speaking guide
After breakfast Ecological day at São Joâo Farm: to go from Passo do Lontra to São João Farm (25km) you will use a jeep safari. Along Pantanal Park Road, you may see marsh deer, peccaries, coatis, armadillos, alligators, and several bird species like Toco tucan. The trip takes 01 hour up to 02 hours. Arriving at São João you will go for a horseback ride (typical pantaneiro horses very well trained). It is a two-hour tour through diverse habitats such as grasslands and higher areas with dense wood vegetation that serve as refuge to animals and birds during the wet season. You may see marsh deer, feral pigs, blue macaws, toucans and many other bird species. Lunch and rest in the hammocks. After rest you go for a ecological walk – on this activity you will spend about 2 – 3 hours walking through diverse habitats such as grasslands and higher areas with dense wood vegetation that serve as refuge to animals and birds during the wet season. It is a very good activity to birdwatching. In the end of the day, the jeep safari will bring you back to the lodge.

Transfer from Pantanal to Campo Grande or Corumbá or Bonito
After breakfast, you go Fish Piranhas on the floating platforms in the Miranda river. This activity happens in front of the lodge and are used simple rods to fish. After lunch transfer from the Passo do Lontra Parque Hotel to Buraco das Piranhas to take the Public bus or private car to Campo Grande.
We also can drop you off in Corumbá (bolivia´s border) or Bonito city. (B, L)
Notes about the REGULAR TRANSFER BY BUS/VAN
– Campo Grande to Pantanal leaving at: 7:15am, 10:30am. The trip takes about 05 hours until Buraco das Piranhas + 30 minutes from Buraco da Piranhas to the Lodge.
– Pantanal to Campo Grande leaving at: 1:30pm. The trip takes about 30 minutes from the Lodge to Buraco da Piranhas + 05 hours until Campo Grande.
– Pantanal to Campo Grande leaving at 7:00am. There is an extra cost because the local transfer is not in the regular time, please ask for rate.
Notes about the PRIVATE TRANSFER BY CAR
– As is private transfer the car can leave at any time you want from Campo Grande or Pantanal. The trip takes about four and half hours.
– The tours will be schedule day by day at the Lodge depending of the weather conditions and can change. Our program day by day is only an example of how the excursion can be distribute.
– Nothing confirmed, just budgeted. Availability will be confirmed at booking time.
