Pousada Olho D’Água is located in an area of 40,000 m2, 3 km from the urban center of Bonito, with forest, spring and a large green area where you can see various types of animals such as macaws, toucans, agoti, armadillo…

There are 24 accommodations distributed in various constructions, located in the shadows of the native forest trees.

– Standard Apartment:  with 1 double bed and 1 single or with 3 single beds, 1 bathroom and 1 balcony with hammock. Some apartments have 1 double bed and 2 single beds or 4 single beds. The standard is equiped with solar heating, Air conditioning hot and cold, Minibar, TV 32 ” LED, telephone and Wi-Fi internet. Max. Capacity: 3 or 4 people. Apartment size: 30 m².

– Classic Suite: with double bed and 1 single bed, hot and cold split air conditioning, telephone, 32 “TV with pay-per-view channel and safe. Living room with bicama that includes two children, split air conditioning hot and cold, ceiling fan, telephone, TV 32 “with channel for subscription. American kitchen: fridge, microwave, counter with stools. Bathroom: shower with separate hot and cold water and hair dryer. Balcony with table and chairs. Max. Capacity: 3 adults and 2 children. Size of Suite: 44m2.

– Conjugated: The conjugate has 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed and 1 bedroom with 3 single beds, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. With hot and cold split air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, telephone, 32 ” LED TV, shower with separate hot and cold water, hair dryer and balcony with hammock. Solar heating, Air conditioning hot and cold, Minibar, telephone and Wi-Fi internet.

The Pousada D`Água infrastructure has illuminated pool, pool bar, bar, lounge, TV room, restaurant with varied dishes, computer with internet access, wireless internet, ping-pong table, parking and plenty of space to wander through nature.

It´s very nice the the Pousada is worried with the environment and do some things to conserve the nature as folow below:
– Notices in apartments giving guests the option of not washing towels daily;
– Use of solar panels for heating bath water;
– Use of paper in the office: all paper used on one side is placed in the “drafts” folder; then it is either printed on the back or is used to make note pads; then crushed to be taken to the Waste Processing Unit;
– Waste separation – organic and dry – and selective collection by the City Hall of Bonito in own truck, which is taken to the Waste Processing Unit, where it is sold by the cooperative that operates the unit;
– Oil used in the kitchen is separated and collected by the institution “Life Oil”, being reused and generating less environmental pollution;
– Restoration project of the riverside forest of the spring area of the restinga stream, which is born at Pousada Olho d’Água: removal and isolation of degradation factors, natural regeneration and planting of seedlings by planting groups in alternate lines;
– Project Partner to improve seed genetic variability in the Rio Formoso watershed, through the selection of seed tree seedlings, in partnership with the NGO “Neotrópica Foundation”;
– Collaboration with “Pestalozzi Society of Bonito”, which takes care of children with special needs, as permanent maintainer;
– Sporadic collaboration with canoeing and jiu-jitsu de Bonito, when these teams participate in out-of-town championships;
– Adhesion to movement WWF’s “Earth Hour”, in 2009, 2010 and 2011;
– Planting of seedlings in the Serra da Bodoquena – Program entrepreneurs in action in celebration of the day of the tree – IASB Promotion, September 2009.
