One of the most comfortable and authentic jungle hotels in the Amazon, confirm the travel packages to the Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge and request a quote right now!
Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge is a small hotel that seeks to combine comfort and contact with nature in a harmonious and subtle way. Its team is prepared to welcome you with maximum attention, safety and care.
Entirely based on the concept of sustainability, focused on less impact and ecotourism, the Hotel has: sewage treatment plant, solar water heating, guest participation in the decision to change bed linen and towels during their stay, selective collection of Garbage, training program for local labor, partnership with the community and strictly respects the Permanent Preservation Area.
The architecture follows the most regional; lots of straw, wood and suspended structures like stilts, but in the bedroom you will sleep peacefully and very comfortably. Throughout the hotel, the rustic is highlighted with modern features that emphasize the beauty of natural materials and the role they play in its structure. There are 20 accommodations distributed in connecting chalets and individual bungalows, all equipped with split air conditioning, box spring beds, hot and cold water, minibar and a cozy balcony.
The restaurant is hidden among the trees, but through them it is possible to see the river of black waters, so dark it was called the Rio Negro. On the menu, a mix of local cuisine classics with typical international dishes, both prepared with care and taken to the table with great care and impeccable presentation.
The deck and pool overlook the river and are protected by trees that provide shade, tranquility and a perfect space for contemplation. At the reception and bar, a fine collection of books, comfortable chairs and game tables invite you to relax and enjoy your time in good company. There is also a small float that allows you to bathe in the river and contemplate the tranquility of the waters. The acidic waters of the Rio Negro largely inhibit the proliferation of insects, making not only the pool, but the entire Hotel environment very pleasant.
Even deep in the forest, Internet service, telephony and Satellite TV are available. In addition, a small library, board games, a shop and massage service are also offered to guests.
The walks through the igarapés, igapós, rivers, islands and forest are a separate chapter. The beauty of Anavilhanas, macaws, parrots and dolphins is always present and will surprise you at every moment. In the dry season, tours are offered to white sandy beaches, lost in the middle of the waters and forest. When it’s full, it’s exciting to ride in small canoes through the flooded forest and discover the lakes that form inside the islands. For the safety of visitors, during tours the lodge has long-range communication radios, they require the use of life jackets during crossings in canoes and guide everyone regarding the necessary care during the visit.
If you want to get to know the Amazon rainforest but don’t give up comfort and privacy, the Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge is your best option. Easy access to the Lodge, great location in front of the Anavilhanas National Park, excellent food and service. The only jungle hotel in the Amazon recommended in the Guia Roteiros do Charme.

The lodge is located about 180 km northwest of Manaus, in the municipality of Novo Airão, on the right bank of the Rio Negro, in front of the largest river archipelago in the world (Parque Nacional de Anavilhanas), bathed by the waters of the Rio Negro and crossed by the Pato and Monteiro creeks.
Access to the hotel can be done both by land and by water and the transfer is based in the port of the city of Novo Airão. From Manaus, after crossing the majestic Rio Negro on one of the regular ferries, you’ll travel in a comfortable van along a little-traveled road that cuts through 180 km of jungle, ending up in the small town. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes down the Rio Negro from the village; its access by river does not suffer from the droughts that occur every year in the region. The transfer takes an average of 3:15 hours and is done by the hotel itself.
There are 16 rooms, distributed in 8 chalets suspended on stilt-like structures with two apartments per unit and a private balcony facing the forest (27 m2 each). Electric power available 24 hours a day, nominal voltage 110V.
The chalets are equipped with: silent split air conditioning, hot and cold shower, safe, minibar, hairdryer, box spring bed (queen size or single), private veranda with hammock.
Capacity: 1, 2 or 3 people.
There are only 4 private bungalows, suspended on stilts, located on an elevation of the land, immersed in the forest with glass walls, with a large balcony and a lot of exclusivity. Electric power available 24 hours a day, nominal voltage 110V.
The Bungalows are equipped with: 32” LCD TV with SKY HD channels, work desk, ceiling fan, silent split air conditioning, hot and cold shower, safe, minibar, hair dryer, box king size bed, private balcony with 2 hammocks for rest.
Capacity: 1 or 2 people.

Marden K.14/12/2023It was a great trip to Pantanal and Santa Clara Lodge. Special thanks to Alisson, he changed the tour for me so that I could reach my return flight in time. The nature tours from Jaguar Man Elias and Pedro were great!Simon Harries13/12/2023The team were super-helpful not only in the easy booking process, but also in giving advice on my onward travel plans. The lodge is fantastic, in a perfect location to enjoy both the wildlife and memorable sundowners. The included food is tasty and plentiful and drinks and snacks are available at very reasonable prices. The guides are very good, full of knowledge and very focussed on delivering the best experiences and wildlife encounters for their clients.Adriana Bracko29/11/2023Alisson and David organized everything for us in Manaus, from transport to tours. The highlights are definitely the 2 nights in the floating house +1 night in the jungle and the other tour to swim with pink dolphins and visiting an indigenous tribe. Loved everything from start to finish. The floating house we stayed had everything we needed: good bed, air-conditioning and simple delicious food. Mathias was our guide and his knowledge about the Amazon is unbelievable. In some activities, João (local guy) also came along and he is really good too. They got so many fishes on the night we slept in the jungle that we all went to bed (hammocks) with full stomach. These guys did everything, from building dinner table to making cooffee in a really traditional cool way. The other tour was amazing too. The pink dolphins are sooo sweet and we were lucky to have lots of them around us. With the indigenous tribe we had a lesson about tradition and dancing and also could appreciate their art. I highly recommend Eco Adventures.Carolina Madarasz08/11/2023Amazing tour, highly recommend it! Allison was super helpful and professional in organizing the trip. We had a fantastic day with stunning views! Obrigada Eco Adventures Travel.Konrad Rohr08/10/2023We booked a 3N Pantanal and 2N Bonito tour. The trip was well organized by Alisson, who handled our requests last minute. In the Pantanal we stayed at Santa Clara which is a nice location with good food. Our guide the "jaguarman" we really can recommend (even though, we did not see a jaguar ;)) as he is very passionate about his job and very entertaining! Of course we cannot compare to other tours, but we were overall happy with our budget tour we booked and would recommend it. If you want to see even more animals and increase the chances to spot a Jaguar one probably would have to go for a more expensive tour in the northern Pantanal.Avaliação totalizada Google 4.8 de 5,
